See a label review report with regulatory citations

This sample shows how ArcheSync presents extracted label information, findings, statuses, and regulatory citations. It uses demonstration artwork rather than a customer label. No issue means that a particular supported check did not identify an issue in the available evidence; it does not mean the entire product meets every requirement.

Demonstration artwork. Six fictional, unbranded labels; each carries at most one deliberate error. Cosmetic samples preview a review that is coming soon.

Reading the statuses.

  • No issue

The supported check did not identify an issue in the available evidence.

  • Review

A conclusion requires clarification, additional evidence, or human interpretation.

  • Flag

The available evidence indicates a potential issue against a cited requirement.

  • Info

Relevant explanatory information. Not an assertion of a violation or a pass.

Instant noodle cup

Food, general food

Flat label artwork for a fictional instant noodle cup, Spicy Miso Ramen, with Nutrition Facts, ingredients and a Contains statement.
Demonstration artwork. Fictional brand, not a customer label.
Evidence
The soup base lists DRIED BONITO EXTRACT. The statement after the ingredients reads "CONTAINS: WHEAT, SOY, MILK, EGG."
Why
Bonito is a fish. Once a label uses a "Contains" statement, FDA guidance says it should name the food sources of all major food allergens in the product (FDA allergen Q&A, Edition 5, D.6, citing FD&C Act §403(w)(1)).
Next step
Name the fish and its species: "Contains: Wheat, Soy, Milk, Egg, Fish (bonito)." FD&C Act §403(w)(2) requires the species for fish.

Food, supplement and beverage label review

Fish-oil softgels

Food, dietary supplement

Flat label artwork for a fictional omega-3 fish oil dietary supplement with a Supplement Facts panel and a boxed disclaimer.
Demonstration artwork. Fictional brand, not a customer label.
Evidence
The label prints "Helps reduce high triglycerides.*" with the asterisk linking it to the boxed disclaimer.
Why
"High triglycerides" names a disease state, so the claim may imply that the product treats or mitigates a disease (21 CFR 101.93(g)(2)). The disclaimer does not make a disease claim acceptable. The regulation does not list this exact phrase, which is why the status is Review rather than Flag.
Next step
Consider wording limited to normal structure or function, for example "Helps maintain healthy triglyceride levels already within the normal range," and have a qualified reviewer confirm the claim.

Food, supplement and beverage label review

Sparkling juice can

Food, beverage

Flat label artwork for a fictional blood orange sparkling juice drink can with a simplified Nutrition Facts panel.
Demonstration artwork. Fictional brand, not a customer label.
Evidence
"CONTAINS 20% JUICE" is printed at the bottom of the information panel, below the Nutrition Facts, ingredients and distributor line.
Why
21 CFR 101.30(e)(1) places the percent-juice statement near the top of the information panel, with no other printed label information above it except the brand name, product name, logo or universal product code.
Next step
Move "CONTAINS 20% JUICE" above the Nutrition Facts.

Face serum

Cosmetics, skincare. Cosmetic review coming soon

Flat label artwork for a fictional hydrating face serum showing net contents of 30 mL.
Demonstration artwork. Fictional brand, not a customer label.
Evidence
The front panel states net contents as "30 mL" with no US customary statement.
Why
21 CFR 701.13(a) and (b) call for liquid net contents in US fluid ounces; 701.13(r) allows an accurate metric statement alongside the US units, not instead of them.
Next step
State both: "1 FL. OZ. (30 mL)".

Lipstick

Cosmetics, color cosmetics. Cosmetic review coming soon

Flat carton artwork for a fictional satin lipstick with a Seoul distributor address and a Korean phone number.
Demonstration artwork. Fictional brand, not a customer label.
Evidence
The only contact on the carton is a distributor in Seoul and a +82 phone number. There is no US address, US phone number, website or other electronic contact.
Why
FD&C Act §609(a) requires a domestic address, domestic phone number, or electronic contact information (which may include a website) through which the responsible person can receive adverse event reports. 21 CFR 701.12 is still met, because the name and place of business may be outside the United States.
Next step
Add a US contact route, for example a US phone number and a website or email address that reaches the responsible person.

Questions

Is this a customer report?

No. This sample uses demonstration artwork and is not a customer report.

What does No issue mean?

No issue means that a particular supported check did not identify an issue in the available evidence. It does not establish that the entire label or product meets every applicable requirement.

Can I inspect the cited source?

Yes. Every finding names the provision it was checked against, such as 21 CFR 101.30(e)(1) or FD&C Act §609(a), so you can read the source text yourself. The methodology page lists where the rule set comes from.
